The Eisenhower Park “Red” course was designed by Devereux Emmet in 1914. It features sand bunkers, a few doglegs, and deep rough. Although the course was once the best of the lot, it has since been overhauled and is now a little more manageable.

The PGA Tour’s Commerce Bank Championship was held at the course in 2013. While the Blue and White courses at the Eisenhower National Golf Club remain open year-round, the Red course is only open to the public.

Lakeside Theatre

If you’re looking for a night out in the summer, you may want to check out the “Celebrate America” fireworks show at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York.
