Why do I need a roof cleaning?

Roof moss and lichen grow their roots into the shingles, removing your important roof granules in the process. If left unchecked, these different forms of roof algae will reduce the lifespan of the roof. Our roof cleaning process helps prolong the lifespan of your roof and significantly improves the appearance of your home.
Roof Cleaning Process
At RJ’s Gutter Cleaning, we use a commercial grade cleaning solution that gets the job done, while helping prolong the lifespan of your roof. We also avoid cleaning stains with high-pressure water, which reduces the lifespan of your roof by removing many of the very important roof granules.
- We first clean off your roof of any loose debris.
- All flower beds and surrounding plants are watered down to dilute any overspray that may occur during the cleaning.
- The roof is then sprayed with our commercial grade cleaning solution (Heavier roof algae build up may require multiple treatments).
- The roof is finally rinsed off using low pressure.
